Our response to COVID-19

In line with the Government’s restrictions on nonessential businesses, Alpaca Passion in Daylesford is temporarily closed. We are devastated by this decision but agree that it is vital to slow the spread of COVID-19 and keep our community safe.
 
Our plan is to reopen as soon as it is safe to do so, and we can’t wait to see you all in person when that time comes. We know that autumn is a favourite time of year  to visit Daylesford, and that many you have been eagerly awaiting our new season collection to arrive in store.
 
The good news is that we received the majority of our deliveries before both Peru and Australia were locked down, and we will be working hard over the next week to show you our new range online. There are also a number of ways we can still get our beautiful alpaca products to you, even with our physical store being closed. 

Online Store
Our online store is open 24/7 and we will be processing all orders daily. We have an extensive range already online and will be adding new categories and products regularly. We have enabled free shipping on ALL orders so you can shop online knowing there won’t be any additional expenses. 

Phone Orders
We know many of you like to speak to us in person and you can still do so. We have diverted the store's phone to our farm and can process all sales from there. Our free shipping offer also applies to phone sales. Call Liz on 0353481177 between 10am to 5pm and she will be happy to help. As she will also be working on the farm there may be some times where she is unable to answer your call immediately, but please leave a message and she will get back to you as soon as possible. 

Laybys
We are still taking payments for existing laybys over the phone and will be happy to post your layby to you, free of charge, once the balance has been paid. We can also start new laybys if you see something online that you want to purchase over time. The same details for existing laybys will apply. 

Gift Cards
We know this is an uncertain time for many of you, with no clear indication of when this pandemic will be over and life can return to relative normalcy. Particularly with each day bringing further social restrictions, many of your loved ones will be celebrating birthdays and other milestones without you physically being there. We have enabled online Gift Cards to different denominations that can be redeemed via our online store. The recipient will receive the Gift Card via email with instructions on how to use it. We are also still offering our physical Gift Vouchers, which you can purchase over the phone to any value, and the recipient can use these in store when we are open again. 

Email Styling
We know so many of you prefer to shop in person with us to feel the products and receive our team’s styling advice. While we can’t see you in person for now, we are happy to offer you advice about any of the styles you see online via email at info@alpacapassion.com. You can also shop freely with us knowing that we offer a 14-day return policy from the day you received your order, plus further time to exchange.
